CTP Dipl, RP, M.Sc.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I trained at The Centre for Training in Psychotherapy (CTP) in Toronto. I have a Master of Science degree in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics and an Advanced Bachelor Degree in Psychology from University of Manitoba.

Over the years I have acquired many certificates and hours of training with different training institutes such as: Relational Life Couples Therapy (Terry Real), Emotionally Focussed Therapy (Sue Johnson), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Therapy (AEDP), Internal Family Systems, Attachment & Trauma Mastery, Striving Styles Personality Assessments, Emotional Intelligence, EQi and Coaches Training Institute.

My life path has been both exciting and challenging. I have experienced ups and downs along the way. These experiences have informed my own therapy, and have helped develop my empathy and understanding towards others.

My professional background includes over twenty years of experience working in a variety of roles such as executive, management consultant, coach, and trainer. I have worked in both private and public sector companies. I became interested in working with individuals and couples in a deeper, more meaningful way over 15 years ago. After attending an extensive training program at CTP, I began working as a psychotherapist and couples therapist. I have worked with people that occupy different roles from students to top executives, as well as different careers, such as; artists, musicians, professionals, stay at home parents, and business owners. I believe, every one is unique, with specific issues and needs.

I offer an initial free 30-minute consultation for individuals looking for a therapist. The consultation is a time to outline what you are looking for, to ask questions, and to determine if psychodynamic psychotherapy is a process you want to proceed with.

In couples therapy, I use innovative approaches based on the latest research relating to Emotionally Focused Therapy and Relational Life Therapy.

Whether you are in the early stage of your relationship or have been together for many years, couples therapy can enhance your relationship. The process helps to build intimacy, better communication, and a healthier, more responsible way of being with each other.

The best way to proceed is to book an appointment and experience a couples therapy session. The free consult is only for individuals seeking long term therapy. Once you experience the session as a couple we can determine next steps.

Having over 20 years experience in the corporate world as a management consultant, trainer, facilitator and leadership coach, I am interested in helping leaders and managers be the best they can be. This involves looking at your leadership style, emotional intelligence, personality, and other personal elements that contribute to how you are in leading others. In addition, managers need to learn management skills that differ from leadership skills. If you would like a coach, I can help you at The Pape Therapy Centre.
